Blog Renamed Grrrrrr

So I have decided that with a change of life and place to live my blog should reflect that.write blog
Several things have happened over the months since I have posted and will not get into too much about it , other then it involves a man a dog and a move. After all I write blog posts mostly for myself and if someone wants to read along that's fine. Nothing exciting here.
Moved from a city life to a very small southern country/ town. Not much unlike what Mayberry might be .It suits me at this stage in life. So does the man and the dog.Life has been really unpleasant for the most part of the last 6 years since my husband died. It involved basically just existing and waiting to die. Some people have come and gone out of this life some being wonderfully good for the spirit other just being miserable S.O.Bs .
Somehow in all this I met this guy a self proclaimed hillbilly and a professional hillbilly at that , Life just hasn't been the same since.
All that said I moved south, still have my Etsy shop but in the process of getting resettled and established. Store will reopen once the dust settles.

How is it that after all this time of being a friend with a person you wake up one day and realize that you love  him,  not just as a friend any more, and that you have loved them a lot longer then you are willing to admit to yourself.
What next ? Do you tell him?

Way Too Long, Finally !

It's been way too long since the last Jeff Lynne/ELO (Electric Light Orchestra) album. The Music Gods and Muses have finally tapped Jeff on the shoulder and said come on give the music world a break from the Justin Biebers, Niki Minaj and Miley Cyrus pap they call talent now. Friday November 13th saw the long awaited release of Alone in the Universe.

I have not personally bought an entire album in forever but I did pre-order this one, after all this was Jeff Lynne , no such thing as a bad Jeff Lynne song. I was not in anyway disappointed by the decision. It's per platinum all the way through, My Lynne does not disappoint and it is like he has never passed a year since he last gifted the ears. The 15 year old in me cheered and bounced around with excitement  like time stood still . Such a pleasure too is seeing him in the different venues, talk shows and what sharing his talents. Wonderful! Applause !  Thank you Mr. Lynne and Mr. Richard Tandy!
